The Artwork of Aldo Prado Fernandez

Aldo Prado Fernandez was born on September 15,1966 in the city of Havana, Cuba where he also received his education. He is a self-taught visual artist. A graduate of Instituto Superior Pedagogico Enrique Jose Varona, his academic studies are in Education with majors in History and Philosophy.

He has completed six post-graduate courses in History and two in Philosophy. From an early age, Aldo has been a visual artist, participating in national and international artistic and cultural exhibitions. When he was eight years old, he received his first national award granted by Rene Portocarrero, the prestigious Cuban visual artist.

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Aldo is also a poet, who as a political exile has resided in The United States since 1995.
